Our DIY photo booth rental comes with the stand to hold our software/machine, backdrop, and lighting. Plus, we include props with every rental. How do I place my photo booth rental order online:
Place your rental order online at www.SummitCityRental.com. Placing your order online is easy, fast and on your own time. To place the order online, follow these three easy steps.
Step One, place your start date and end date of the rental policy.
(This would be your wedding date. The end date can be the same day as the start date.)
Step Two, enter the quantity of photo booth rentals you need (typically 1 is plenty) for your event and click rent.
Step Three, check out through our one page checkout with only a 25% deposit of total.
(After you checkout your rental order an email will be sent confirming everything. You will receive event reminders when your day comes closer. Also, tracking will be received through the email provided.)

What is the shipping policy for the DIY Photo Booth:
First, we offer FREE shipping both directions if ordered within 5 business days of event. We (Summit City Rental) will calculate the shipping time to your location entered. We will schedule the uplights to arrive 1-2 days prior to your start date. We do not require a signature for any photo booth shipments. (We understand last minute running around occurs and don’t want you to miss your shipment because of a signature needed.) The photobooth rental will arrive in a heavy duty plastic container for easy transportation to and from the event. Our mobile DJ’s love it because they can place the totes inside their trailer or vans.
How to return the DIY Photo Booth:
We (Summit City Rental) will include a return shipping label inside a Summit City Rental folder. (This folder also contains your invoice and photo booth rental instructions.) Remove the return labels from the two pocket folder. (Feel free to keep the two pocket Summit City Rental order or pass it to a friend.) The photo booth is due back the following business day or two days after the event. (Unfortunately days does do consists of Monday through Sunday.) However, you can have us send a FedEx truck to the shipping address to pick up the photo booth for an additional cost. On the other hand you can drop the photobooth tote to an authorized FEDEX facility.
Canceling your photo booth rental:
We do allow cancellation of any order. However, the deposit of 25% is non-refundable. Our policy enforces this because there is an office staff that has spent minimum 10-15 minutes of processing your order, calculating travel time and ensuring all your request are met. When we cancel the order there is a five minutes spent in the office cancelling the event. Since, we spend close to a half hour of just office staff we don’t refund the 15% deposit. However, if it’s the transferring to a different date within four months we will transfer the deposit to a new date for you.

What is your rental policy:
We broke our uplighting rental policy so we give you a clearer understanding of how our rental policy works.
When would my up photo booth arrive:
We ensure that the up light rental you placed will arrive 1 – 2 days prior to your start date selected. The uplighting rentals will arrive in Rubbermaid plastic totes.
When is the photo booth due back:
The uplights are rentals so unfortunately they need to be returned the next business day or 1 – 2 days after the event. You need to drop them off at a FedEx shipping center. When dropping them off remember to receive a receipt for confirmation. (Receipts are free at all locations.)
What is the down deposit or security deposit:
First, we (Summit City Rental) do NOT require any security deposits. However, we do require a down deposit. So, what is the difference between down deposit and security deposit?
We do require a down deposit for any up light rental. Our down deposit is 15% of the rental amount. That means the 15% you put down is part of the total.

What happens if photo booth is returned late:
Your event is over and a stress level has just been lifted, we understand this. However, our photo booth needs to be sent to the next customer. We ask that if you are going to be late on returning to call us. We may send the photo booth to a different location for the next customer. We have a limited number of photo booths and have deadlines to keep. However, if no phone call or email is made when their due we do charge twenty-five dollars per photo booth rental per day. This can add up, but we have deadlines to make and other customers that we have to fulfill up light rentals. How would you like if the uplight rentals you rented arrived late to your event? It wouldn’t be good because you might not have a chance to set them up. All in all, please call us if you are going to be late. This allows Summit City Rental to update everything.
We have a tent or no outlets to plug the up lights in:
Unfortunately you are on the wrong up light rentals. But don’t worry because we have wireless upighting rentals. (Check them out here: http://summitcityrental.com/wireless-up-lighting-rental.) The wireless up light rentals cost a little more, but they add convenience when setting up for your event. The convenience is because you don’t have to worry about plugging them in. You just flip the switch to “ON”, set your color, open the brackets and set them on the ground. The battery will last up to twelve hours of bright led light.
We don’t have many outlets:
We (Summit City Rental) have you covered in different ways. You can mix your up light rental order with corded uplighting rentals and wireless or battery uplighting rentals.
Corded uplighting rentals – We offer a five foot power cord, ten foot power cord or fifteen foot power cord. Our uplights allow you to plug the power cord into the back of the previous up light. To demonstrate this, we have a picture for you below. This means that you can separate the uplights up to fifteen apart if you choose the fifteen foot power cord for your uplight rental.

Cost to rent up lights:
Our up light rentals start at only $17.00/each with no minimum order. That means we charge $17.00 an uplight rental and you can choose the quantity of 1 to 1,000. However, we don’t think wedding should mean high cost. We offer a discount after 35 up lights. The uplights drop to only $16.00 per light. Each uplight rental includes the power cord of your choice.
What color can up lights do:
It would be better to tell you what color our uplights can NOT do. The up lights cannot do black up light color, grey uplight color or any super dark shade up light color. On the other hand we can do shades of purple uplight rental, magenta uplight rental, turquoise up light rental, blue up light rental, yellow up light rental, red up light rental or so many more. Our up light rentals can do any bright color which does enhance your event. We have a color sheet in the tab next to this one. Plus, you can match your up light color with one of our amazing rental linens.
When do I need to place my rental order:
We recommend that you try to rent your up lights one to three months prior to your event date. However, most of the time we can fulfill last minute orders too. (We just ask that you check with us.) With that being said, you are probably on the fence about uplighting rentals. We suggest renting the uplights earlier because it guarantees availability for your event. Nobody wants to run into no availability for their event because of last minute. That is why we suggest one to three months to place your lighting rental order for wedding rentals or event rentals.

How many uplights do you recommend:
This is a common question, but is hard to answer. However, we are going to share how many uplights to rent by seeing how many guest your event hall holds. We use these numbers because there is a national standard code of how event halls are made. This national standard states how much square foot is given for each person. Therefore, we know that an event hall that holds 75 individuals in Indianapolis, IN or Los Angeles, CA they will be close to the same size of square footage. There may be a difference about number of walls or lengths of each wall, but the overall size of the room will be common. In conclusion, we can accurately assume how many uplight rentals you will want by the size of your event hall.

Elegant Lighting Rental:
Elegant lighting rental includes few uplight rentals that look great behind head tables for wedding uplight rentals. Next, for non-wedding light rentals they are great placed around the room or the entrance to the room. Finally, for school dances they look great to transform gymnasiums or cafeterias where the school dances are held.
Modest Up Light Rental:
Modest up light rental includes a few more than elegant lighting rentals. This allows you to place the uplight rentals across one or two walls. That means you have a great look right when guest come in for all events. This is the most common up light rental category people use. Yes, most people that rent from us (Summit City Rental) rent about 20 – 25 up lights.
All-out Uplighting Rental:
This is for event planners, school dance planners, reception halls, or brides that want full room up light coverage. This gives the “Amazing” or “Wow” effect! Because it allows up lights to cover around the room. This means that up lights are approximately ten feet apart. We love this because the pictures are amazing and look beautiful.

We have included a map so you can know what the shipping time is to you. This will also give you the idea of when the uplights will be shipped to you. Please note that these transit times are an estimate. We do offer upgrading service.

Free Shipping Information
Shipping:
We offer FREE Shipping both directions for any rental items. There is no minimum order for up lighting rentals, but other items may incur a minimum count. The up lighting rentals ship in plastic totes for easy transportation and returning. Other rental items such as linens, chauvet nimbus, and effect lighting will be transfered through cardboard box or appropriate shipping methods. Need them in a few days? We can offer expedited shipping at a low price. You will receive uplight rentals 24 hours prior to event date. (Please see map below on transit times.)
15% Deposit:
All we need is a $25.00 deposit to hold all lighting reservations. The final amount will be charged 10 business days prior to shipping out.
Cancellations or Order Changes:
You may cancel your order anytime. However you forefit the 15% deposit which is non-refundable. If you need to add uplights to your order or remove uplights that is no problem.
