Festival & Fair Porta Potty Rentals in Fort Wayne
Town festivals, street fairs, 4-H fairs, carnivals and markets
Big crowds, long days and plenty of food and drinks mean restrooms make or break a festival. Summit City Rental supplies porta potties, ADA units, hand wash stations and restroom trailers for festivals, fairs and carnivals across Fort Wayne, Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio, and we can service them during multi-day events.
Restrooms Sized for a Crowd
Festival restrooms are mostly about volume. A row of standard porta potties handles the bulk of your crowd, and hand wash stations belong at every bank, especially near food vendors. Plan on at least one ADA-accessible unit in each group of restrooms; ADA design standards call for at least 5% of portable units in a cluster to be accessible, and never fewer than one. A restroom trailer is a nice upgrade for a VIP tent, a beer garden, sponsors or volunteers.
How Many Units Will You Need?
The count depends on attendance, how long people stay, and whether alcohol is served. A festival where people stay four or five hours and drink beer needs a lot more than a two-hour craft show. Our free porta potty calculator gives a quick starting number, and we’re happy to look at your layout and expected crowd with you. If your event runs more than a day, we’ll schedule servicing between days so units stay clean and stocked.
Placement Tips for Festivals and Fairs
Spread restrooms out instead of putting every unit in one corner, so nobody has to cross the whole grounds. Keep them close to food and drink areas but downwind of them, on level ground with a clear path for our service truck. Light them if your event runs after dark. For street fairs and downtown events, we can work with you on where units can go around closed streets, sidewalks and parking lots.

Festival & Fair Restroom Questions
Can you service porta potties during a multi-day festival?
Yes. For events that run more than one day, we schedule pumping, cleaning and restocking between days.
How many ADA porta potties does a festival need?
ADA design standards call for at least 5% of portable units in each cluster to be accessible, with at least one per cluster.
Should I add hand wash stations?
Yes, especially near food vendors. Many health departments expect hand washing near food service, and guests appreciate it.
How early should we book festival restrooms?
As early as you can. Summer and fall weekends fill up quickly, and large orders need more units and planning.
